This policy explains how Slabers describes ungraded cards, graded cards and sealed Pokémon products. Please read the individual product listing alongside this guide.
Product details and photographs
Check the product’s language, set, card number, edition, finish, condition and quantity before ordering. The listing explains what is included and identifies any selectable options.
Stock or representative images are labelled accordingly. Photographs described as “actual item” show the item you will receive. Collection artwork is illustrative and does not identify the specific items available for sale.
If a detail is unclear or you would like additional photographs, contact contact@slabers.com before purchasing.
Ungraded card condition
“Raw” means a card has not been professionally graded. We assess its front, back, edges, corners and surface, using the following condition descriptions:
| Condition | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Near Mint (NM) | Very little wear. Small edge or corner imperfections may be present. |
| Lightly Played (LP) | Minor handling wear, such as light whitening or small surface marks, without significant structural damage. |
| Moderately Played (MP) | Noticeable wear, including scratches and more substantial whitening around edges or corners. |
| Heavily Played (HP) | Extensive wear. Creasing, dents or substantial surface marks may be present. |
| Damaged (DMG) | Significant damage, such as deep creases, water damage, tears or major bends. |
These descriptions are Slabers’ condition categories. Other marketplaces and grading companies may use different terminology. Significant defects are explained in the listing or shown in actual-item photographs.
A card pulled straight from a pack is not automatically flawless. Printing marks, centring and other manufacturing imperfections can affect its appearance and potential grade.
Graded cards and grading expectations
For graded cards, the listing identifies the grading company, assigned grade and relevant certification details. The grade relates to the card; the holder’s condition is described separately where relevant.
Buying an ungraded card does not include a promised grading result. A card already graded by one company is not guaranteed to receive an equivalent result from another company or on resubmission.
Please contact us if you have concerns about authenticity, certification or an undisclosed problem with a holder.
Sealed products and packaging
A product described as factory sealed retains its original manufacturer seal, unless a specific packaging issue is clearly explained in the listing. Products with opened outer packaging are identified separately, including what remains individually sealed.
External packaging can have minor manufacturing variations or handling marks. A “sealed” description alone does not promise a flawless display box.
Material packaging damage, such as noticeable dents, tears or seal damage, is disclosed before purchase. If we discover an undisclosed condition issue before dispatch, we will contact you to agree how to proceed.
Booster contents and manufacturing issues
Booster packs contain random assortments. Specific cards, rarities, artwork, grading results or resale values are not guaranteed unless expressly included in the product description.
If you suspect missing contents, a manufacturing defect or tampering, contact us so we can investigate. A manufacturer’s support process does not replace your rights against Slabers.
If something is wrong
Email contact@slabers.com with your order number and a description of the issue. Clear photographs of the item and relevant packaging help us assess the problem. Please retain them while we arrange the next steps.
This guide does not excuse an incorrect, faulty, counterfeit or misdescribed item. Returns and refunds are addressed in our Refund Policy.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable EU consumer law, including applicable withdrawal rights and remedies for faulty or misdescribed goods.
